For one out of my two projects I decided to put out a pack of Gatorade Bottles on the edge of my driveway to see what the people walking in my neighborhood would do. My neighborhood has a lot of little kids so I thought this would be interesting. The first 20 minutes a family walked by and the little kids walked towards it, but the parents said to leave it alone. After an hour a little kid walked by and looked at it. He stared around to see if anyone was watching and then walked towards it and took one. This project was very entertaining to see how the people in my neighborhood would react.
For my second Project I did a Observational drawing with a medium of colored pens and pencil. I developed my art making skills by learning new techniques. I gained skill with the medium/ material I had because it was difficult to see what colors would combine well. I messed with different colors and found some and started coloring. It turned out better than I thought it would. In the picture below I observed a family member holding a feather in their hand as I drew it. This was difficult because hands are a challenge for me, but I just kept drawing. I did many different sketches and finally came up with this one. As for the mediums I used I wanted to combine the pencil and pen because it made it have more of a colorful effect. This was an exiting project to do. It challenged me, but in the end was fun and taught me more about art.
